The teachers day celebrations at D.A.V. Sr. Public School, Surajpur commenced with an aplomb and went off with gaiety and high spirits among the teachers.

          With the wishes of Chairperson Mrs. Sneh Mahajan and Regional Officer Mrs. Madhu Bahl, the teacher’s day function has been held successfully.

          The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Vijay Kumar ji and Mrs. Rajni Sharma ji. The icing on the cake has been the honour bestowed upon Dr. Mamta Goel, Principal of the school with the Award of Excellence.

          Mr. Vijay Kumar congratulated the Principal and the staff on this incredible achievement.

Thereafter Anakshri, Qawali, Group Song by the staff along with few solo performance stole the show. Teachers set the floor on fire by hearty dance also.

Later they were honoured with the attractive gifts and sumptuous lunch.

Principal Dr. Mamta Goel expressed her ecstasy over the splendid show put in by teachers on teacher’s day and blessed them with joy, prosperity and true dedication towards their profession, emphasizing over the fact that A Teacher has proud his/her worth as a teacher once she has been able to touch the core of the heart of her students.
